  1. I really wish I was old enough to have a smear. The UK is rediculous for
not lowering the age. So many girls have died recently from this cancer. My
mum had stage 3! Yet thats still not enough for a doctor to test me!

    1. Cervical cancer is not genetic (like breast for example). If you have
anything abnormal though I would pressure for testing

  2. Last week on Monday my doctor told me my results came back mild abnormal
for Pre Cancerous Cells. My doctor mentioned that when she did the Papsmear
she saw some Moderate Cells. They wanted to do a Leep procedure today but
it got cancelled because the doctor who was supposed to do it, is not there
anymore. I have to talk to a new doctor today. I don’t know what is going
on with my sex life but I am not getting any pleasure from it. Why? I was
able to before. I am a little bit in pain when I have fun with my partner.
    please help with advice.

    1. +Cassie McMinn you need to talk to your doctor Hun. I’m not a doctor and
there could be MANY reasons you are having your symptoms . Hope it gets
      sorted out soon xxx

    2. +Rebecca Farah I did. I am glad that you are feeling better. I am so sorry
about your marriage. You will find a wonderful man out there who loves you
      for who you are.

  3. Hi Rebecca, I stumbled onto your video about the signs and symptoms because
I had two paps/Hpv test done and both came back abnormal. I’ve never had an
abnormal pap and I’ve had a pap done every year. I’m having a colposcopy
done next Thursday and I’m super scared, hoping they won’t find anything
really bad. I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your videos! They
are helpful. I have to tell you though; I watched the video of you talking
about your husband (now ex) left you. I was crying my eyes out! I am glad
that you’re doing well, you’re such a strong woman that when you think
about it, you really didn’t need him anyway. :)

  4. Hi there, im 22 and half a year ago i was diagnosed with stage 0 pre
cancerous cells! happy i did a pap smear early. in Holland regular testing
starts at the age of 30. next month is my first check up after my LETZ
procedure. ( i’m getting really axious already )
i wanted to say thanks for making these kinds of video’s! there is not much
info about it in comparisson with other diseases. so thank you!! hope
    you’re doing well :)

  5. I was actually told by my doctor that it’s every 3 years until you’re 25
and then every year from then on (for getting a pap)

  6. I just got my pap results a week ago…high risk hpv with ascus..gotta get
colposcopy…I’m 23 and sort of scared as to what my results will be.

    1. good luck. making my girl get testing for everything. precancerous tissue
ect. she has major symptoms of something very similar to this.

    2. Mayra Martinez just to let you know hpv and abnormal results are VERY
common and does not mean you are going to get cancer most of the time it
      treats itself.

  7. I have not been to the obgyn in 3 years. One reason my co pays. I am
dealing with a few other health issues that has me far into debt. I had my
period 2 weeks ago and now I am bleeding as if I am on my period. I am
worried. Time to go to the obgyn

  8. Hello I just came across your video I have I a question I was just
diagnosed with stage two cancer cells they Wanna do the surgery right away
what are the chances of it coming back?

  9. hey. I was wondering if you remember what your colposcopy result where? my
pap results where severe pre cancer lesion and I’m waiting for a referral
for a colposcopy. wondering if I’ll finally get my result after that or if
I’ll have to wait for a leep to get the correct diagnosis.

  10. I’m very scared I may have cervical cancer. I’m only 23. I go for my first
ever obgyn appointment at the end of November. I have multiple symptoms and
    am just very very scared.

  11. I apologize if you’ve already talked about this. I skimmed the comments and
didn’t see this talked about. Do you think the IUD had anything to do with
the cancer? I personally would never get an IUD. I think the way it
prevents pregnancy, by making your body think you have a foreign body in
your uterus and stimulating an inflammatory response, is just setting your
reproductive system up for problems. I know there are people who swear by
IUDs, but they just sound like a bad idea to me. I’m wondering what your
opinion of them is in hindsight?

  12. I’m really worried. I’ve having severe abdominal, pelvic and vaginal pain.
It started off slow once a month and now it’s everyday and been happening
for a couple of years. Now I feel really sick. Bloated, nauseous, cant eat
too much, I don’t have an appetite, really weak, tired. I’m just drained. I
have 7 noticeable polyps and 3 fibroids. I’m losing sleep. Can they see
    cancer in an sonogram?
