  1. I have recently learned to use coconut oil instead of melted butter on
    popcorn with some nutritional yeast sprinkled. Taste like cheese popcorn.

    1. Grass fed butter is just as good. The fats are healthier because of the
      animals diets. Same as omega 3 eggs.

    2. … most people who can’t eat dairy, due to lactose intolerance, do well
      eating butter. Kerry Gold is an excellent brand of pastured raised Irish
      butter.

      Butter and many cheeses contain zero grams of carbohydrate, which means
      they contain zero grams of sugar. And zero sugar means zero lactose, or at
      least close to it. Compared to the 12-13 grams of lactose in a single cup
      of milk, less than 0.5 grams per serving isn’t much.

  2. I’m from Jamaica and my great grandma used nothing but coconut oil. She
    lived to 106. I just rediscovered it. Now all I use is coconut oil.

  3. Use coconut oil daily, on skin, face, hair, and etc. And I drink a T of
    melted oil in 1T of grape juice, it goes down sooo easy. It’s like your
    having a small coconut grape drink, delicious . Also made a carrot cake
    from scratch that needed 11/2 c of oil. I used 1cup of regular oil, 1/2 c
    of coconut oil, the cake was so moist and added flavor when done. You are
    so right Dr. Mercola!

    vaporize hunger by putting it into coffee along with grass fed butter.

    condition with her legs and since applying the oil every day, her condition
    is greatly improving. It IS greatforthe skin.

  8. I use Coconut Oil for an after shave. Just keep it over where the hair was
    (not on the nose or right under your eyes) or you will get a zit. Also, I
    have started Oil pulling.

  9. I’m from a tiny caribbean Island called ST.Kitts. my grandmother used
    coconut oil all her life and she lived until 98yrs.

  10. Organic Unfiltered Coconut Oil from Trader Joe’s cured my cat’s bladder
    tumor. All internet sources told me that among many other cures, it shrinks
    tumors for animals & human. So i decided to try it by giving her 1/4 tsp. a
    day through a sterilized unused dropper. Well it worked. She used to not be
    able to urinate & her urine was dark red/brown. She hasn’t had that problem
    ever since. I saw improvements within days. Soon, after that, she was
    completely normal. I gave the coconut oil for about 2 months every day,
    paused for a week or two, & started again. But, by then I didn’t have to do
    it every day. I just give her a little bit 3-4 times a week, for general
    health. For very serious issues, like cancer, it’s suggested you do it
    twice a day. So, for a cat, anywhere between 1/4 – 1/2 tsp. once in the
    morning, once at night. Start slowly, as animals can’t let us know when
    something is too much. Too much, too soon might give them diarrhea, which
    is one of its GOOD side effects (flushing out toxins from the system,
    kidneys, colon,…)

    I also STOPPED giving her dry cat food. That stuff is really bad for them
    (especially male ones) & also causes Urinary Tract Infections. I started
    slowly including REAL food ( a bit of boiled egg yolk, chopped up organic
    chicken, steamed/boiled celery, tiny amounts of fish…) in her diet &
    gradually got her used to the taste of real food. Years of commercial food
    really does a number on their taste buds besides their health.
    Once a week I soaked a bit of Parsley (flushes out chemicals, metals,
    toxins) in hot water & added a tsp. of the liquid to her food or fed it
    through a syringe.

    *** CAUTION: Never force anything, especially fluids down an animal’s mouth
    or put them on their backs to administer anything. ALWAYS place the
    dropper/syringe sideways, between their back teeth & NEVER the front of
    their mouth & squeeze slowly. Don’t rush. ***

    ** With animals the dosage for natural remedies is usually dependant on the
    weight of the animal. So, as far as coconut oil, for cats & dogs under 20
    -25 lbs. you start with 1/8 teaspoon (like a few drops) & gradually over
    the course of a week or two, you move up to maximum 1/4 teaspoon (for a
    10-15 lbs cat or dog) & up to 1/2 teaspoon for bigger animals (15-25 lbs.)

    FYI- Organic, Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar (With Mother = Vinegar with
    the grainy stuff inside) also cures many ailments, including severe cases
    of Urinary Tract Infection. For animals it should always be diluted with
    water, 1 part Vinegar, to 3 parts filtered water.

    Read online to find out how much to administer. For cats, It’s usually
    something like 1CC (or 1 full dropper) of 1 part Unfiltered Apple Cider
    Vinegar to 3 parts water.

    Also, find out about the amazing health benefits of adding tiny amounts of
    sea salt to their water. Again, read online to make sure you get it right.
    You must find out the exact amount first. Too much of it can cause
    dehydration, among other things. The right amount will do wonders. The same
    goes for humans. I’m sure the good doctor here has some articles or videos
    on it for human use.

    In ANY CASE, for your pets, please DO ALWAYS include their REGULAR WATER
    bowl next to the slightly sea salted water bowl. This way, they get to
    choose which kind of water they need most, at any given time. When their
    body is in need of the minerals in the sea salted water, they will
    naturally gravitate to that one.
    Also always use natural (ceramic, glass,..) bowls. Never plastic. And, wash
    them often. When washing, use very little detergent & make sure to rinse
    everything realllllllly well, to get ALL the detergent/chemicals off.

    Daily exposure to even the smallest amounts of all the chemicals in & on
    everything, is one of the biggest reasons for all the health problems.

  11. I eat this coconut oil and mix it with Spirulina, nutritional yeast, and
    Maca powder. My new-nutrition superfood: Green yuk. Just kidding, who cares
    what it looks like. It tastes great.

  12. I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO TO FIJI ON VACATION AND THE FIJIANS USE COCONUT
    OIL FOR ALMOST EVERYTHING. A TEA SPOON A DAY DOES WONDERS, AS IS A SMALL
    AMOUNT OF OIL WITH BAKING SODA BRUSHING YOUR TEETH. NO FLOURIDE CRAP! SO IF
    THE FIJIANS SWEAR BY IT, I USE IT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. GREAT FOR
    EVERYTHING.
